Spring
When it comes to spring break activities, Kings Dominion ranks number one! The park operates daily for ten days straight so you can get your fix of thrills, family, and FUN! Also open for Easter weekend, guests can get the opportunity to get pictures with the Easter Beagle and Eggward the Easter Bunny.
Summer
It wouldn’t be summer without the return of Soak City Waterpark on Memorial Day Weekend! There's something for everyone with dozens of water slides, splash pads, a wave pool, a lazy river, cabanas, and more. You are sure to have a splash-tastic time in the only destination in Virginia with two parks included for the price of one.
Grand Carnivale is one of the most spectacular summer and food festivals you will ever partake in! Explore culinary and live music and entertainment options worldwide as you dance and party the night away. Kids will find games and craft activities that will make them laugh and play. The Spectacle of Color Parade invites you to join in the fun when you immerse yourself in various countries.
Celebrate the Fourth of July with a dazzling fireworks display, one of the largest in the area! Spend the day at the park and relax and watch the show at night as we light up the sky to some of the best patriotic tunes.
Fall
Tricks and Treats is sure to excite as one of the premier fall festivals! Families are encouraged to dress up in their best costumes and go trick-or-treating in the park, while partaking in fun activities like game shows and costume contests. It truly is one of the best events for family-friendly fun.
As the light turns to dark, the monsters emerge as Halloween Haunt returns. This nighttime Halloween event is not for the faint of heart, as monsters own the keys to the park and dare you to enter through our bone-chilling scare mazes. Plus, get night rides on some of your favorite attractions like Drop Tower, Twisted Timbers, and Tumbili.
Winter
Each Christmas season, WinterFest invites guests to make fun part of their holiday tradition with festive décor throughout the park, ice skating on the Royal Fountain, millions of Christmas lights, seasonal food offerings, and live music and entertainment. Select rides and attractions will also be available during this limited-time winter festival. Join us on New Year's Eve for a late night dance party celebration with fireworks and music, as we count down the new year.
