Kings Dominion's performance programs offers a wide array of performance, festival and competitive opportunites for youths in the arts, music and dance, while also providing an environment for artistic growth in a fun and interactive setting. Festival of Music

 Kings Dominion’s Festival of Music provides band, orchestra and choral students the opportunity to perform on-site at Kings Dominion. Adjudicators listen, evaluate and comment on your group’s performance. Awards argiven for superior and excellent ratings. Festival of Music is open to all elementary, middle, and senior high school instrumental and choral groups.

NEW! ShowFusion Show Choir competition

Kings Dominion is proud to introduce ShowFusion – our very first competition dedicated solely for Show Choirs! Give your students the opportunity to display their talents and compete with other show choirs from schools across the region.

Dance Festival

Dancers from all over the region perform on a professional stage in front of a panel of distinguished judges. Groups can perform for comments only or as part of the competition. The overall top three winners are announced each day and all performers will receive a ribbon and a certificate of participation.

Marching Band & In-Park Performance Programs

Reward your marching band or performance group with a day of excitement and thrills at Kings Dominion! Our performing groups program is an excellent opportunity for students to perform in a fun, exciting and relaxed environment with thousands of spectators. Your performance members become the center of attention as they march down the midways or perform on one of our outdoor stages.

Spring Fling Cheerleading Competition

Kings Dominion is excited to announce the 2nd annual Spring Fling Cheerleading Competition hosted by Coastal Cheer & Dance. This competition will take place at the Kingswood Amphitheater at Kings Dominion on Saturday, April 26th. All-Star, recreation, school and sport squads are invited to participate in this cheeleading event.
