Roller Coaster Mania

In conjunction with our Education Days at Kings Dominion, we are pleased to announce the Roller Coaster Mania Contest! Students will display their creations at Joe Cool’s Pit Stop for all park guests to see. During judging, students will be asked questions by our panel of experts. Winners will be called on stage for special recognition. 

WHAT: Roller Coaster Mania Contest

WHERE: Joe Cool’s Pit Stop – located in Planet Snoopy

WHEN: May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, 2024

TIME: Between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm our Coaster Mania host will provide exact judging times on the day of your visit.

Your team must register at least two (2) weeks prior to attending Education Days to compete.

Win Prizes

Winners will be chosen from each grade level (Elementary, Middle School  & High School), on each of the dates listed above. Plaques will be awarded to the winners of each grade level. Special superlative ribbons will be awarded for: 

  • Most Frightening
  • Most Thrilling
  • Most Unique
  • Best Name
  • Most Creative
