Earlier this month, we had the honor of announcing the first-ever Cedar Fair Purpose Award winners.

As a Cedar Fair Park, our purpose is to make people happy. Our associates go above and beyond each day to fulfill this purpose and we would like to recognize them for their dedication to this mission.

During the month of February, associates were asked to nominate full-time and year-round part-time colleagues who embody Cedar Fair’s purpose. Out of 731 nominations across Cedar Fair, Kings Dominion received an overwhelming 73 nominations!

After careful consideration of the nominations, three individuals from various roles and backgrounds were selected based on their commitment to the park. They demonstrate care and genuine interest about people, inspire others to create happiness for others, bring people together, and turn negative situations into a positive experience for all.
