It's time for Kings Dominion’s ultimate holiday celebration on select days from November 29th through January 4th. The park has transformed into a winter wonderland and so many exciting holiday activities await you and your loved ones to create the most wonderful memories this holiday season.
Your favorite WinterFest holiday attractions return this year including ice skating on Snow Flake Lake, cookie decorating in Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen, pictures with Santa at St. Nick’s Pics and much more. Watch as the Eiffel Tower becomes a 300-foot-tall Christmas tree during our WinterFest Tree Lighting Ceremony every night at the Grande Bandstand.

Exclusive Activities
Jack Frost's Igloo Village* - Come chill out in one of Jack Frost’s luxurious igloos and take in the beauty of WinterFest! Igloo rentals include concierge services, food and beverage delivery services and a WinterFest Souvenir Mug.
Mrs. Claus' Kitchen cookie decorating* - Mrs. Claus invites you to stop by her kitchen and decorate your very own box of her delicious cookie creations.
North Pole Post Office - Santa’s elves are opening a special post office just at WinterFest to ensure you can write a letter to Santa just in time for Christmas!
Sally's Christmas Crafts - Little ones can let their creativity shine and decorate their own unique holiday crafts to take home and commemorate their trip to WinterFest.
Snow Flake Lake ice skating* - Our iconic fountain on International Street turns into one of the largest and most picturesque ice skating rinks around. Ice skating on Snow Flake Lake will be a great way to take in the sights and sounds of WinterFest!
St. Nick's Pics - A trip to WinterFest wouldn’t be complete without a visit to see Santa! Stop by Santa’s WinterFest home to let him know what you want for Christmas and to get the traditional photo with the man in the red suit. St. Nick’s Pics is free but souvenir photos will be available for purchase.
There are so many more activities you can take part in during WinterFest including helping Charlie Brown and Linus find the perfect tree in Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree Lot, and meeting Midway Merriment characters throughout the park including Jack Frost, the Sugar Plum Fairy, the mysterious Belsnickels and more!

A PEANUTS Guide to Christmas: Join Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus in a fun-filled holiday sing along as they get ready to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!
Cool Yule Christmas: Across from the Eiffel Tower, the cast of Cool Yule Christmas performs your favorite pop holiday hits in this high-energy Christmas show on the International Street Bandstand.
Four Drummers Drumming: These high-energy toy soldiers take The Little Drummer Boy into the 21st century with fresh beats and unique sounds. Shall they play for you? Pa-rum-pa-pa-uh-huh!
Jingle Jazz: Our group of carolers perform a collection of cool Christmas hits.
Sounds of the Nativity: Celebrate the reason for the season with seasonal songs, a manger, and a stable of live animals at the Nativity Stage.
The Kris Kringles: Classic Barbershop meets the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Join the Kris Kringles on International Street for a singing good time!
The Mistletones: This trio of star-struck songstresses perform nightly at the Old Virginia Christmas Gazebo singing classic tunes reminiscent of the 1950's.
Tinker's Toy Factory: All of Santa's elves are frantically preparing for the big night, but a mishap has them figuring out toy delivery on the fly!
Tree Lighting Ceremony: Join Snoopy and the Kings Dominion Holiday Singers to kickoff our Tree Lighting Ceremony on the International Street Grande Bandstand.
Tasty Treats and Drinks
It wouldn’t be the holidays without delectable food and drinks! At WinterFest, you can find all sorts of sweet and savory dishes at our WinterFest dining locations that are sure to satisfy the foodie in you!
Christmas cookies are a classic holiday tradition and at WinterFest you’ll be able to purchase an assortment of Christmas cookies decorated to beloved holiday icons such as snowmen, teddy bears, stockings and more at most dining locations. These cookies are so cute that they’re almost too cute to eat!
And would it be the holiday season without hot chocolate? Our classic hot chocolate will be available at most dining locations throughout the park and be sure to get a WinterFest Souvenir Mug to take advantage of FREE hot chocolate refills on your first visit to WinterFest and only pay $1 for each refill when you visit WinterFest again!
Holiday Shopping
Our merchandise locations on International Street will transform into holiday boutiques for you to find the perfect WinterFest souvenirs and gifts for your loved ones. Home for the Holidays and North Pole Mercantile will be the place to find your favorite Kings Dominion WinterFest apparel, ornaments, mugs, plush and holiday décor.
Sugar Plum Sweets is where you’ll find all sorts of sweet candy including fudge, candy apples and other assorted candy. You’ll also be able to shop for a selection of PEANUTS and Coca-Cola Christmas merchandise including plush, apparel and a wide array of other assorted merchandise.
Build-A-Bear Workshop will be the perfect place to create your own furry friend and bring them to life by adding the stuffing, completing the special Heart Ceremony and then adding your own personal touch by adding sounds, accessories and outfits!
Another fun way to shop at WinterFest will be in Artisan Alley. There will be many local Virginia-area artisans and craft vendors showcasing all kinds of hand-made gifts and this will be a great way to support local artists this holiday season!
