How to Make a Reservation for Taste of the Season

Maggie Sellers

We are so excited to welcome you back this year for our Taste of the Season event! Safely, that is. To help ensure social distancing, the park is opening with limited-capacity and reservations will be required for your visit.

We want to ensure a smooth and easy process to welcome you back to the park. We have a few tips to help you make a reservation, activate your pass and add your tickets or passes to the Kings Dominion Mobile App.

As a reminder, if you purchased a pass on our EZ Pay Plan, your pass will need to be current on all payments prior to when payments were paused. To check if your pass is in good standing, log in to your pass portal here. Future payments will not begin until a later date in 2021 – as long as your pass is considered current on payments before they were paused you will be able to visit using your pass.

How to Make a Reservation

  • Starting Monday, November 16, visit kingsdominion.com and click "Season Passholder Reservations"
  • Then, select how many people are in your party.
  • After you select the amount of people in your party, click “next” and select the date you and your party wish to attend.
  • After you select a date:
    • Passholders: enter in the Season Pass Voucher Ticket number if you haven’t already processed your pass or enter the 8-digit number if you have already processed your pass
  • Once you have selected the date, the number in your party and updated your pass information, you will then be sent to the checkout page and will be asked to update your information (i.e address, email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Once everything is complete, your reservation tickets will be sent to your email

You do not need to have activated your pass in order to make a reservation, however you will need to activate your pass before your first visit. To help make this as smooth as possible, it is now easy to do at home!

How to Active Your Pass

  • Once your pass is purchased, head to www.kingsdominion.com/activatepass
  • Click on “Activate Pass” and from there you will be sent to a screen where you will type in the (8-digit or 20 digit?) number from your order confirmation
  • After typing in the season pass number, enter your information including your name, phone number, email, address, etc.
  • Once all the information is completed, you will have successfully activated your pass and then you will receive a confirmation email to verify that your pass has been activated

To make your visit to the park as seamless as possible from filling out your health declaration, to entry to the park, scanning for in-park discounts and offers, access to the park map and more we recommend linking your tickets and passes to the Free Kings Dominion Mobile App.

How to Add tickets and Passes to Your Mobile App

  • Head to your Apps store and download the Kings Dominion Mobile App
  • Create an account if you haven’t already
  • Click the “Me” section in your app
  • Add your passes or tickets using the confirmation number or the 8-digit number on the back of your pass.

We hope you find these tips helpful ahead of your visit to the park! We can’t wait to welcome you back home for the holidays!
