Bring the Fall Fun Home with these KD Inspired Activities

Missing Haunt and Fall at Kings Dominion? We are too. It’s one of the best times to visit the park to enjoy thrills, fall decors and festive treats during the day and to be completely immersed in the fog, lighting and of course the scarezones with hundreds of monsters lurking around every turn at Haunt.

The monsters nearly died with sadness when we told them there would be no Halloween Haunt in 2020, but we assured them we would do our best to bring the frightful fun home to you (minus the monsters themselves).

While we are all looking for fun ways to celebrate Halloween with Fall Activities in the Richmond area, take a look at a few ways you can enjoy #KDHaunt at home:

1. Carve a pumpkin eater worthy pumpkin!

Who doesn't love the look of a flickering Jack-O-Lantern or two on the front porch this time of year? Mix it up by showing you're a fan of Kings Dominion, coasters, and your favorite PEANUTS characters with these creative stencils. Print them out, trace them onto a pumpkin, carve and collect the compliments!

2. Play ghostly games at home with prizes.

To make our classic candy-corn ring-toss found during The Great Pumpkin Fest, gather several orange cones and use Yellow and white tape or paint to turn them into free-standing candy corns. Glow sticks make the perfect-sized ring and can make a great game to play in the yard when the sun is setting.

3. Decorate with to die for themes

Our Creative Services team is sharing some of their favorite tips to bring the fright to your mantel with Haunted themes.

4. Get your pumpkin fix with a Pumpkin Funnel Cake Recipe.

Call it a basic treat, but it’s really just that delicious! Our executive chef is sharing his favorite recipe for Pumpkin Funnel Cake you can make in the comfort of your home.

5. Do a little Fall Refresh on your phone and desktop Wallpapers

Add some fall-themed PEANUTS pizzazz to your phone and computer screens or show off your favorite HAUNT attractions with these colorful wallpapers.

6. Put your creativity to use with new fall Coloring Pages

Keep little hands busy and little minds creating with these unique-for-fall coloring sheets. Download and print them today so you have them on hand when you need a quick activity for your little trick-or-treaters.
