Twisted Timbers December Construction Update

We’ve got an early Christmas present for you – track work on our new hybrid roller coaster, Twisted Timbers, is *almost* complete!

Last month, crews had just begun working on the oh-so-massive overbank which comes right after you plummet down the 109-ft barrel roll drop.

And just 10 days later, the overbank was complete! ‘Aint she a beaut? This isn't your typical turn...going through the over bank, you will tilt over 90 degrees.

Ok, ok...one more.

With the completion of the overbank, we're that much closer to the track being complete – over 95% - however, the final four pieces won’t be installed until the New Year.

Track progress felt a little more real as our full-time team members got to leave their mark and sign the final piece of track that will be installed (while they donned their holiday best of course) at our company tacky sweater party earlier this month.

Even though the track is nearly complete, there’s plenty of work to do. The RMC team is busy making sure every bolt is tightened and in its place. Then we will begin work on the queue line and thematic elements as well as all of the electrical work.

Can't wait to ride? Make sure you get your 2018 Gold Season Pass before prices go up! You'll be able to ride Twisted Timbers over and over and over again!
