What You Need To Know About Pre-K Pass Processing

Maggie Sellers

One of the exciting new things we’ve added this year, is the ability for children ages 3 -5 to experience the park with unlimited FREE visits through the new Pre-K Pass. You were smart and registered your child online – high five! – But, now what?

This is a limited time offer, so you’ll need to redeem the pass at the park on any public operating day before April 30, 2017. In order to redeem your pass, you’ll go through Season Pass processing – just like you are processing a Season Pass.

When you arrive to process, be sure to have 3 things:

  • The registration confirmation
  • The child who is receiving the pass
  • Their proof of age

If you have all of these things, processing will go by smoothly and without a hitch.

When you registered, you may have uploaded a photo online – Great! However, that doesn’t mean your child doesn’t need to be present at processing, it just means your child doesn’t have to take a photo at the park. Your child must be present at the time of processing. There could have been an error with the photo, or it might not have met our photo guidelines and a new photo will need to be taken.

One of my favorite parts about this FREE pass, is not the unlimited visits, but all of your chances to upgrade and save even more. With a Dining Plan, you won’t have to worry about Lunch or Dinner at the park – and with 16 locations, there’s bound to be something for even the pickiest of eaters. Get the Season Pass Drink Plan and rehydrate every 15 minutes! FunPix helps you capture all of those firsts – first roller-coaster ride on Woodstock Express, first, second, third and fourth hug with Snoopy and so much more.

“You mean to tell me all of these can be added to my child’s FREE Pre-K Pass?!”

You Betcha! Once you’ve processed your child’s pass, you’ll use the number on the back of the card to finish purchasing – then voila! It’s added to the pass and you’re ready to roll.

All of this sounds great – but what if you’re one of the few whose child will turn 6 before the deadline?

Your child has to still be 5 at the time of processing. But have no fear – extra processing stations are here to ensure you get it in time! On select days we will have additional processing stations set up at the front gate to ensure everyone gets to process their pass with minimal wait times. Be on the lookout for emails and updates on our social media channels for these special dates.

If you registered your child and have not processed the pass yet, but they have already turned 6, unfortunately they are no longer eligible.

“But wait – my child is 2, turning 3 after the deadline. Can I get the pass still?”

As long as you have all of the requirements listed above and the proof of age has the date they will turn three, you can redeem a Pre-K pass before April 30.

Still have questions? Be sure to check out our FAQs on the Pre-K Pass here. Parents -- if you haven't already, be sure to get your Gold Season Pass for a summer of unlimited visits and fun with your family!
