We have some exciting news! Camp Wilderness is now the Kings Dominion KOA.

So what exactly does this mean? It’s the same great camping, just with a new name. Camp Wilderness is still owned and operated by Kings Dominion, but is now affiliated with KOA, one of the largest camping organizations in the world! That means there are a lot more benefits to those of you who love camping (or kamping!)

With over 230 sites, we can accommodate large motor homes, campers or even tents. Perhaps you’d like to try out one of our 32 deluxe cabins, added in 2014! These can accommodate up to 10 guests per cabin. Plus, you can cool off in our pool, challenge your family to a game on the volleyball court, throw some horseshoes, or stop by the camp store for any essentials you may need. Each campsite also includes a picnic table and fire ring, so get the s’mores ready!

When booking a stay at the campground, be aware that you will now be directed to the KOA site to complete your reservation. Our great campground team is still in place and ready to welcome you for your stay!

Plus, great perks like discount tickets and the free shuttle between the campground and the park will still be available!

Happy kamping!

Does this mean the pass holder discount is no longer available?

Do you have to be a KOA member (membership fees) to stay at KD campground now?
