Kings Dominion to Hire Hundreds for Halloween Haunt

DOSWELL, VA (August 1, 2014) – Calling all monsters! Kings Dominion is hiring for the largest scare force in the region for the 14th season of Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion. In all, Kings Dominion is looking to fill just over 600 positions.

In total, Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion features nine mazes, six scare zones, six live shows and more than 450 monsters roaming the midways. As part of the 40th Celebration, Kings Dominion is bringing back the classic “Maze of Madness.” Guests will try to find their way out after venturing down twisted halls of mirrors and chain link in an endless maze of terror.

Kings Dominion will host four upcoming Scream Tests and Creature Casting dates for job seekers interested in being Halloween Haunt monsters and performers:

• Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Individuals looking to attend one of the Scream Tests and Creature Casting dates are asked to first apply online at before attending a casting call. On of the day of the casting call, potential employees should go to Kings Dominion’s Human Resource Office, which is located at 16000 Theme Park Way in Doswell, Virginia.
