Tuesday, August 19th, 2014

DOSWELL, VA. (August 19, 2014) — Kings Dominion is proud to once again team up with the Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to offer guests discounted tickets while supporting a great cause.

Now through September first, guests can purchase discounted tickets on the Kings Dominion website using the code JDRFKD. As part of the KD Cares Program, Kings Dominion will donate $2 from each JDRF admission ticket purchased during the end of the summer season.

In 2013, the park’s partnership with JDRF helped to raise more than $48,000 for diabetes research. In the past several years, Kings Dominion and its guests have donated over $100,000 to the Central Virginia and Greater Chesapeake and Potomac chapters of JDRF.

Kings Dominion is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, a publicly traded partnership that is listed for trading on The New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “FUN.” In addition to Kings Dominion, Cedar Fair owns and operates ten other amusement parks, four water parks, one indoor water park, and five hotels. Cedar Fair also operates the Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park in California under a management contract.
